YHWH vs Homosexuality

Verse of the Week

Thought for the Week

YHWH is quite clear that homosexuality is a grievous sin. Whether or not someone personally believes in this is irrelevant. Denying a fact does not make it false. It is appalling to hear how many so called “Christians” accept homosexuality. Even worse are those that claim to be homosexual “Christians”.

To all those that claim to be “Christians” who practice homosexuality - You cannot have two masters. Either you serve YHWH and abhor homosexuality or you reject YHWH and serve your own lusts. Does that mean all homosexuals are condemned to Hell? No. Jesus’ sacrifice covers our past sins; but, several times he said “Go and sin no more”. Just because a person has a desire does not mean they must act on that desire. Jesus also spoke of denying ourselves. If a person with past homosexual acts surrenders to Jesus as their Lord and Savior they are washed clean since their past sins are washed away; and, by restraining from further homosexual acts they remain clean. If however they continue committing homosexual acts then, as we are told in the Book of Hebrews, there is no further sacrifice possible for their continued sin. (Consider also the question of sincerity concerning their surrender to Jesus as Lord if they then ignore what YHWH commands.)

It is also pitiful to see those who try to defend themselves by pointing to the sins of others - i.e. adultery, etc. Ever heard the old saying, “two wrongs do not make a right”? Jesus railed against hypocrisy for a reason. Adulterers will also pay for their sins. As will all those who continue to commit any intentional sins. Unlike many with political aspirations backing away from the truth I will stand by YHWH - and He does call homosexuality an abomination on par with bestiality.

Modern day “church leaders” that show support or even tolerance for homosexuality do tremendous damage to themselves and others. Being politically correct may get them rich and famous - even get them into the White House. It will not get them into Heaven. But this has happened before. Consider the words in Jeremiah:

For the pastors have become stupid and they have not sought YAHWEH. Therefore, they shall not be blessed, and all their flock shall be scattered.

(Jeremiah 10:21)

So says YAHWEH of Hosts, Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you; they make you vain; they speak a vision of their own heart, not out of the mouth of YAHWEH. They say to those who despise Me, YAHWEH has said, You shall have peace. And they say to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, Evil shall not come on you.

(Jeremiah 23:16-17)

No matter our personal wants and desires, if we do not surrender our will to YHWH we condemn ourselves by our own actions. YHWH does not “send” people to Hell. He created us AND allows us to pick where we will spend eternity - with Him or without Him. If we chose to follow our own path instead of following the directions He has given that is our choice; and, we will arrive at the destination we steer toward.

It is just as with the old Indian story of the two wolves warring within us - the good wolf and the bad wolf. The one we feed will win. Temporal mortal pleasure and damnation or service to YHWH and salvation - you decide.

“But as for me and my house, we will serve YAHWEH.” Joshua 24:15

Comment: Too many people today, instead of facing the reality of YHWH’s laws, follow the maxim “if you do not like the answer ask a different question”.

 

Did You Know

California has a new law to force judges off the bench just for affiliation with the Boy Scouts. COMMENT: It is not enough that the Boy Scouts cowardly caved in to political pressure and began allowing homosexual scouts - they still do not allow openly homosexual scout leaders: Therefore anyone ever affiliated with them must be punished. However, membership, past or present (not just affiliation), in a terrorist organization is allowed (PLO, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, etc). I have said in the past that the Government in the US is not just forcing the acceptance of evil; the Government is trying to force us to support evil as well.

 

          The US Presbyterian Church officially announced they accept homosexuality.

 

          Recent studies in the US show that 7 out of 10 applicants fail military entrance requirements. COMMENT: I wonder what a survey of the applicants for membership in the Boy Scouts for would reveal.

 

ICE has released the statistics for the illegal aliens they turned loose on the American public for 2013. 36,007 already had other criminal convictions including the following: 193 convicted for homicide, 426 for sexual assault, 303 for kidnapping, etc. COMMENT: These criminals not only automatically qualify for government assistance (that exceeds veteran’s benefits) they get full rights to vote and own firearms too! - So much for homeland security.
