Christians and Courage?

Thought for the Week

          It is not unusual to hear of “Christians” who, in essence, live their lives just like non-believers except they attend church on Sunday. These folks are in for a surprise when they learn that YHWH does not accept weekend warriors - either you enlist full time or not at all.

This time of year, like Christmas, brings out a lot of “holiday Christians”. They too live their lives just like non-believers except on “Christian” holidays. Like their weekend warrior companions they focus a lot on Jesus’ death and very little on his life.

Jesus did much more than die for us - he lived a life as a man for us; and, continues to live as our immortal Lord at the right hand of YHWH. It is easy to find “christian” memorabilia that proclaims “Jesus died for you”. Have you ever seen any that says Jesus lived for you?

If you read the canonical Bible and/or the other related material (e.g. Didache) you will find relatively little about Jesus dying for us. What you will find an abundance of is Jesus living for us - teaching us what is expected and showing us how to live. We have his teaching and his example.

What a different world we would live in if all those who claim to be “Christians” focused on his life and teachings as a way to live their lives instead of focusing on his death and sacrifice as an excuse for ignoring what he taught.

Comment: Seems a lot of “Christians” live as if service to YHWH is distasteful to them as well. If you will not do it on Earth you will not have the option to in Heaven.

Did You Know

          In the US it is not Ebola that you should worry about - the DHS is releasing illegal aliens into the populace that have drug resistant TB. The list of imported diseases is growing every day.

          COMMENT: This is the same government that is pushing for mandatory vaccines “for our own good”. FYI - More people in the US have died from the measles vaccine in the last few decades than have from measles itself! There are more deaths in the US from Tylenol than from diseases from unvaccinated children.

          After trying to buy up all the firearms ammo DHS is still so concerned for our safety that they are also trying to buy up all the “non-lethal” assault weapons and ammo they can lay their hands on.

          Federal and state governments are so flushed with LGBT success that they require tax payers to pay for sex changes for criminals and traitors - taxpayers even have to pay to let them brag about it on the internet!.

COMMENT: An even greater insult are the “studies” taxpayers are forced to pay for to benefit these abominations!
