for KJV worshippers

. . . according to their works:
The KJV inserts the word “god”, but with a capital “G”, over a dozen times where the word is not in the text that was translated. Look at any KJV+ and you can see the proof yourself (e.g. Luke 20:16)! The DRB, which is in some ways a Catholic version of the KJV, does the same thing. The KJV and the DRB do this by using the phrase “God forbid” when neither the word “God” or “forbid” is in the text being translated - no matter what codex you use.
Many folks worship their KJV more than they do YHWH. They depend on their KJV for the truth instead of what Jesus told them to turn to - the Holy Spirit. The KJV has become an idol to be defended more than the truths it contains. Tell a KJV’er you do not believe in God and they may try to share the Gospel with you. Tell them you are a “Christian” but that you do not believe the KJV is perfect and they often treat you with disdain as if you are a demon; and, if you dare try to change their minds they may well react as if you are working for satan.
Worse yet, they worship their KJV so dearly they refuse to even consider the teachings of Paul as false. Their devotion to the words of man has blinded them to the Truth of YHWH.
Saddest of all is that many KJV’ers also hold this devotion without having truly studied what any Bible says - even their precious idol the KJV. If they did then perhaps their eyes would not be turned “down” to read a book but Heavenward to the true teacher of Truth, the Holy Spirit. I would say inward but until they break the spell of KJV idol worship turning inward may reveal a different spirit entirely for most.
There are entire websites dedicated, not the spreading of the Gospel, but to promoting the KJV itself and ridiculing any who disagree. A book, a simple chunk of wood reshaped and worked by the hand of man.
The rest of humanity, who had not been killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so that they did not stop worshiping demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood — idols that cannot see or hear or walk about.
(Revelation 9:20)

Scientists and YHWH

Many so called educated folks today treat those who worship YHWH instead of science as if we must be stupid. Do you know anyone who thinks that science (or reason) and belief in God are incompatible? Maybe they should consider the thoughts on that subject from some “great thinkers”:

From religion comes a man's purpose; from science, his power to achieve it. Sometimes people ask if religion and science are not opposed to one another. They are: in the sense that the thumb and fingers of my hands are opposed to one another. It is an opposition by means of which anything can be grasped. -- William H. Bragg

I find it as difficult to understand a scientist who does not acknowledge the presence of a superior rationality behind the existence of the universe as it is to comprehend a theologian who would deny the advances of science. -- Wernher Von Braun

The more I study science, the more I believe in God. -- Albert Einstein

The laws of nature are but the mathematical thoughts of God. -- Euclid

The question of whether there exists a Creator and Ruler of the Universe has been answered in the affirmative by some of the highest intellects that have ever existed. -- Charles Darwin

God used beautiful mathematics in creating the world. -- Paul Dirac

I believe that the more thoroughly science is studied, the further does it take us from anything comparable to atheism.
If you study science deep enough and long enough, it will force you to believe in God. -- William Kelvin

It was not by accident that the greatest thinkers of all ages were deeply religious souls. -- Max Planck

This sense of wonder leads most scientists to a Superior Being – der Alte, the Old One, as Einstein affectionately called the Deity – a Superior Intelligence, the Lord of all Creation and Natural Law. -- Abdus Salam

Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both. -- Carl Sagan

A scientific discovery is also a religious discovery. There is no conflict between science and religion. Our knowledge of God is made larger with every discovery we make about the world. -- Joseph H. Taylor, Jr.

Are you going to be like a pillar of salt?

Remember Lot’s wife.

(Luke 17:32)

Have you ever taken the time to ponder why Jesus said this?

She was saved from destruction (with Sodom), but, she then disobeyed YHWH and so was destroyed anyway (Genesis 19:26). Just a small, simple turn of her head condemned her - disobedience has no size or complexity. Either you are obeying or you are not. Being obedient is like being pregnant - either you are or you are not.

Lot’s wife is but one of many examples Jesus could have used. Nadab and Abihu, Aaron’s sons, also disobeyed in a small and simple manner - and were struck down for it (Leviticus 10:2/2, Numbers 3:4 and 26:21).

          YHWH said:

But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your cattle, or the resident foreigner who is in your gates.

(Exodus 20:10)

The Sabbath was and is on Saturday. Nadab and Abihu thought it was no big deal to change how they worshipped YHWH from He had told them. They were wrong. Are you honoring YHWH’s Sabbath as He has commended or do you go along with the manmade traditional change to Sunday?

          Jesus said:

If you love me, you will obey my commandments.

(John 14:15)

Jesus said He will not save those who disobey YHWH:

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven -only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day, many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you. Go away from me, you lawbreakers!

(Matthew 7:21-23)

          There is still time. Remember:

You must observe the Sabbath rather than doing anything you please on my holy day. You must look forward to the Sabbath and treat the LORD's holy day with respect. You must treat it with respect by refraining from your normal activities, and by refraining from your selfish pursuits and from making business deals.

(Isaiah 58:13)

Jesus did not die to give you a free ticket. He died so you would be made pure enough for YHWH to give you the grace of His Holy Spirit, to enable you to obey. Only your sins as a non-believer are forgiven by His sacrifice. Consider: Is a pardoned prisoner free from obeying the law after his pardon or is he expected to be grateful enough to become law abiding?

Remember Lot’s wife.

(Luke 17:32)
